Hundred Humanoids Train 24‑7 at Munich‑Area Robogym

At a facility just outside Munich Airport, as many as 100 humanoid robots are on a nonstop training schedule. The space, dubbed a “robogym,” operates 24‑7, with machines exercising at all hours in an effort to become more like humans.

The robots run through a variety of routines—squats, push‑ups and other movements—while sensors and monitoring equipment log their performance. The goal of the program is to teach the machines human‑like physicality and endurance.

Because the gym never closes, the robots can train whenever they need, making the facility a constant hum of servos and motors. The initiative reflects a broader mission to bridge the gap between artificial and human capabilities, turning metal bodies into more human‑like performers.
