Nawaqanitawase’s First Week Sparks Smiles at Panasonic Wild Knights

Mark Nawaqanitawase’s first week at the Panasonic Wild Knights has already caught the eye of the coaching staff. Attack coach Berrick Barnes praised the newcomer, noting that his leadership qualities and sheer positivity are clear to see.

Barnes joked that the young recruit could easily double as a motivational speaker, turning a routine training session into something that feels a little more like a pep rally. While the exact impact on the squad’s tactics remains to be seen, the enthusiasm he brings is unmistakable.

Teammates have reportedly been buoyed by his upbeat approach, and the locker‑room chatter now includes a few extra smiles. As the season unfolds, the Wild Knights will be watching to see whether Nawaqanitawase’s charisma translates into on‑field success as well as off‑field morale.
