Audi's FP1 sidepod blunder leaves 'very bright' fan on display

Audi's FP1 run was marred by a simple oversight – a very bright fluorescent fan was left inside the sidepod of Freddie Slater's car.

The fan, intended for cooling, was bright enough to be noticeable, turning the car into an unintended light source during the session.

Audi acknowledged the mistake and said the team will be rueing the error as they review their build checklist.
