Frydenberg’s Memoir: Candour, but No Clue About His Future

Josh Frydenberg’s latest memoir urges politicians to embrace hard choices and open dialogue, yet he sidesteps the obvious question of his own political future.

The omission has become the most talked‑about point of the book, turning it into a kind of council meeting that never ends – an agenda that is clear but the outcome is never announced.

Readers can find chapters on policy nuance and the art of the press release, but when it comes to the question of his next ballot box, the book offers silence.
