Blakey’s Trade Tango: Suns Eye Hawks Forward Duo as Deal Drama Hits Final Sprint

As the AFL trade period enters its final sprint, the Sydney Swans are poised to snap up a pair of Hawthorn forwards while the future of Nick Blakey remains uncertain, with North Melbourne and the Swans deadlocked over a deal.

The trade window’s last three days have clubs moving quickly, and the Swans have set their sights on the Hawthorn forwards.

Meanwhile, the fate of Nick Blakey hangs in the balance after North Melbourne’s opening offer to Sydney was rejected, leaving both clubs waiting for the next move.

The Swans’ targeting of Hawthorn’s forward line could boost their scoring options for the upcoming season.

If the Swans secure the duo, they will add a forward pair to their list, while Blakey’s situation remains unresolved with no official confirmation from either side.

Club officials have stayed tight‑lipped, and the atmosphere in the trade period’s arena remains electric as the clock ticks down.
