Canelo Alvarez to Face Christian Mbilli in Riyadh: A 12‑Round Showdown With a Camel‑Sided Twist

Canelo Alvarez (63‑3‑2) defends his WBC super‑middleweight title against undefeated challenger Christian Mbilli (29‑0‑1) in a 12‑round bout in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, Oct. 31. The fight will be streamed live on DAZN for fans watching from home.

The Mexican powerhouse Canelo faces the French‑Canadian prodigy Mbilli in what is being billed as one of the year’s most anticipated super‑middleweight title fights. Viewers can tune in via DAZN rather than traveling to the arena.

Alvarez’s record of 63‑3‑2 reflects a long‑standing career at the top of the sport, while Mbilli’s unbeaten 29‑0‑1 record marks him as a rising contender eager to make his mark on the world stage.

Fans have already started joking about the desert setting, with tongue‑in‑cheek talk of a camel serving as referee – a playful nod to Saudi Arabia’s iconic wildlife, not an actual plan for the event.

DAZN has promised an uninterrupted viewing experience, complete with expert commentary that will break down every jab, hook, and combination for the home audience.

The bout will take place under the bright lights of Riyadh, where the desert meets modernity, offering a unique backdrop for this high‑stakes clash.
