Gallen Tells Boxing Rookie to Quit the Ring and Return to Rugby, Laughs It Off

Paul Gallen turned a routine press conference into a fiery showdown, taking aim at former teammate Nelson Asofa‑Solomona’s recent move into professional boxing.

Gallen openly mocked Asofa‑Solomona’s decision to step into the ring, suggesting the former rugby player would be better off staying on the field. He laughed off the prospect of Asofa‑Solomona’s boxing career, treating the whole venture as a misguided sideline.

The comments were delivered with Gallen’s characteristic bluntness, leaving little doubt that he believes Asofa‑Solomona’s future lies in rugby rather than boxing.

While the press conference was brief, Gallen’s remarks sparked a wave of reactions online, with fans and commentators noting his unapologetic stance on the matter.
